Vintage “La Flama” black marble sculpture by Leonardo Nierman, from an estate sale. Handcarved in the 1980’s, this abstract flame sculpture was a signature Modernist Movement piece by Nierman. No signature which is standard for Nierman sculptures, has a gallery designation on it. No chips or cracks, but does have some light edge fleabites which can be sanded out- but I don’t dare. Heavy! Others in the black marble sell for much more, but I am pricing it lower due to the fleabites. A gorgeous piece of collectible art.
